QUETTA: Two children were martyred after militants associated with Fitna al Hindustan hurled a hand grenade on Madrasa in Quetta on Tuesday evening, officials said.
As per details, the grenade exploded near the religious madrasa located near Saryab Mill area of Quetta.
The preliminary reports say the blast killed two children at the scene.
Police and Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel rushed to the area and cordoned off the site.
Security officials launched a search operation in the surrounding area and began scanning available surveillance footage to identify the attackers.
Authorities also activated intelligence sources to trace those responsible for the attack.
Police have launched an investigation.
