A large number of tourists are heading to the valley to enjoy its cool weather, stunning landscapes, beautiful glaciers, enchanting lakes, picturesque waterfalls, the crystal-clear waters of the Kunhar River, and its pleasant atmosphere.
The growth in tourism includes large vehicles and an increasing number of tourists who choose to ride bikes to explore the lush green fields, snow-capped mountains, and fresh, cool weather of the region.
Authorities have issued special instructions to ensure smooth flow of traffic and provide guidance and assistance to tourists at various places in the valley, including Shogran Road.
In response to the unprecedented crowd, Kaghan Development Authority has canceled all staff leaves, deploying officers and field teams across the region to manage the situation efficiently and to provide guidance and assistance to tourists.
Furthermore, KDA officials have advised tourists to maintain a safe distance from the Kunhar River due to its high-water levels and have strongly prohibited taking photographs on riverbanks and rocks. Additionally, visitors have been urged maintain hygiene and avoid littering in order to preserve the valley’s natural environment and natural charm.
