Rawalpindi ISPR :The Pakistan Corps Commanders Forum has strongly condemned Iran’s recent attacks on Saudi Arabia’s petrochemical and industrial complexes, stating that such attacks undermine sincere efforts to resolve conflicts through peaceful means.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the 274th Corps Commanders Conference, chaired by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HI, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, reviewed regional and internal security in detail, with the recent attacks on Saudi Arabia taking central focus.
The forum described the attacks as unnecessary escalations that not only threaten regional stability but also severely affect ongoing diplomatic efforts and the peaceful environment. It also noted that Saudi Arabia has shown restraint and caution despite serious provocations, which has helped keep the path open for mediation and diplomatic solutions.
Pakistan Appreciates Efforts to End Regional Conflicts
The forum praised the government’s proactive efforts to end conflicts in the Middle East and emphasized that Pakistan is committed to responsible negotiations, tension reduction, and principled diplomacy. Conference participants stressed that, as a responsible stakeholder, Pakistan continues to act as a regional security stabilizer.
Tribute to Martyrs
The forum offered Fatiha in honor of the armed forces, law enforcement personnel, and civilians who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland. It paid tribute to the unparalleled sacrifices of martyrs, stating that their immortal sacrifices form the foundation of Pakistan’s security.
Operation Ghazab Lil Haq to Continue
The forum affirmed that all terrorists operating under the direction of India and other external patrons will be eliminated. Facilitators and supporters of terrorism will be targeted indiscriminately and relentlessly. Operation Ghazab Lil Haq will continue until all terrorist safe havens are completely destroyed, and use of Afghan territory against Pakistan is decisively stopped.
India’s False Claims Rejected
The forum rejected India’s continuous misleading information and baseless accusations, stating that such tactics have been exposed globally. Concern was also expressed over India’s ongoing human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir, including extrajudicial killings and cover-ups of fake encounters.
Field Marshal Highlights National Stability
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stated that through coordination between the government, armed forces, and public, Pakistan is advancing toward stability. He added that Pakistan is strengthening economic stability and improving its standing regionally and globally.
The Chief of Defence Forces praised the armed forces’ unwavering professional expertise, and Field Marshal Munir commended operational performance and steadfastness in counter-terrorism operations based on sustainable intelligence.
High Standards of Operational Readiness Emphasized
At the conclusion of the conference, the Army Chief directed commanders to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness, discipline, innovation, and professional battlefield skills. The Chief of Defence Forces expressed full confidence in the armed forces’ ability to counter all threats, as well as their capacity to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and regional integrity.
