Islamabad: The Foreign Office has said that Indian propaganda against Pakistan’s successful diplomacy in the Iran-US conflict continues.

In a weekly press briefing, FO spokesperson Tahir Andarabi stated that discussions were held to end the war. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of Muslim unity. Four foreign ministers supported the Iran-US talks in Islamabad.

He added that last week, active diplomacy for Middle East peace continued in Islamabad. Foreign ministers from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt held a meeting in Islamabad.

This was the second round of the four-party talks. Previously, the foreign ministers of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt had bilateral meetings with Ishaq Dar.

According to the spokesperson, these foreign ministers also met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and other issues were discussed.

The FO spokesperson noted that Iran allowed 20 Pakistani-flagged ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. Ishaq Dar welcomed this move on social media.

Additionally, Ishaq Dar visited China at the invitation of the Chinese foreign minister. Pakistan and China issued a five-point agenda to end the Iran-US conflict.

He added that Pakistan is engaged in talks with the Afghan Taliban in China. A Pakistani delegation was sent to Urumqi to demand concrete action against terrorism inside Afghanistan.

Talks with the Taliban are ongoing, and Pakistan has never avoided negotiations. Pakistan is also engaging China on Afghanistan-related issues.

During the media briefing, Tahir Andarabi said that Indian fake news continues to target Pakistan’s diplomacy in the Iran-US conflict.

Statements falsely attributed to the Iranian Foreign Ministry were later clarified by Iran. He warned the public to remain cautious of these fake news sources and liars.
