Web Desk: Google has launched the Google AI Professional Certificate Program for people in Pakistan. The initiative aims to reduce the growing skills gap in artificial intelligence and help individuals build practical AI knowledge.
The program helps people learn how to use AI tools with confidence. It teaches practical skills that enable professionals to apply artificial intelligence in their daily work and improve productivity across different industries.
Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the global economy. As a result demand for professionals who understand AI tools continues to grow across many sectors.
A recent study by Ipsos and Google found that 70 percent of managers believe companies need employees with AI training. However only 14 percent of workers have received formal AI training. Google introduced this certificate program to help close this skills gap.
The course follows a learn by doing approach and includes more than 20 practical activities. These activities allow participants to build real world skills and gain hands on experience with AI tools.
Participants also receive three months of free access to Google AI tools. This access allows them to practice with advanced AI models and apply them to tools they already use.
Learners can use AI features directly in Gmail Google Docs and Google Sheets through Gemini.
Google experts and AI professionals designed the certificate program with six courses and a final capstone project.
The program begins with the fundamentals of artificial intelligence and teaches learners how to create effective prompts. Participants then explore ways to use AI for brainstorming planning and building detailed project timelines.
The course also teaches participants how to conduct research and generate insights with tools such as NotebookLM. Learners develop skills for writing professional communication and creating presentations for stakeholders.
Participants also learn to create visual content videos and presentations using AI tools. The course further develops data analysis skills where learners use Gemini in Google Sheets to build charts create formulas and develop visual data reports.
The final capstone project focuses on building applications with AI. Participants practice vibe coding and create practical apps without writing traditional code.
The program targets busy professionals and allows them to complete the course at their own pace in less than ten hours.
After participants complete all seven modules they receive a digital certificate. They can share this certificate on LinkedIn to showcase their AI skills and professional progress.
