US Iran war

Washington: According to reports, the war with Iran has become expensive, and the United States suffered losses of approximately $3.7 billion in the first 100 hours of the conflict.

As reported by Geo News, a report by the Washington-based think tank Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) stated that the war expenses were not included in the current budget, and at some point, the U.S. Department of Defense will require additional funding.

The report further noted that shifting toward lower-cost ammunition would reduce ammunition expenses. It also said that covering conflict-related costs solely from the existing budget would be politically and practically difficult.

The conflict between the Iran and the United States has long been marked by political tensions, economic sanctions, military posturing, and regional power competition. Over the past decades, disputes over nuclear activities, influence in the Middle East, and security incidents have repeatedly escalated diplomatic friction between the two nations.
