According to the authority, Pakistan’s airspace remains fully secure and available for all types of commercial operations. It explained that the issued NOTAM does not indicate any shutdown but only reflects the temporary unavailability of certain Air Traffic Service (ATS) routes.

Officials further stated that in the Karachi Flight Information Region and Lahore Flight Information Region, specific ATS routes will be affected daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. However, alternative routes and airports are available and are being used routinely to ensure smooth flight operation.

The authority also highlighted that there are no restrictions on commercial flights, including arrivals, departures, and overflights. It emphasized that misreporting and incorrect interpretation of aviation notices can cause unnecessary panic and inconvenience for travelers, urging the public to rely only on official statements for accurate and verified information.
