Web desk: Panic spread at a busy and well known railway station in Germany when a 35 year old Afghan man suddenly pulled out a knife and attacked people present at the site. Witnesses said the attacker targeted individuals at an information stand run by Jehovahs Witnesses inside the station. He carried out multiple stabbings which left several people injured.

British media reported that the situation escalated within moments and passengers began to run in fear. Emergency teams quickly shifted the घायल to nearby hospitals. Doctors said that some victims remain in critical condition. Medical staff provided immediate treatment at the scene.

During the attack several brave citizens stepped in and tried to stop the suspect. They managed to overpower him and forced him to the ground. Police arrived within minutes after receiving the alert and took the suspect into custody.

Authorities said they are investigating the identity and background of the attacker. Officials have not confirmed a motive yet. Security agencies are examining all possible angles including personal conflict religious bias or mental health issues.

The incident has revived memories of a 2021 knife attack in the city of Wuerzburg. In that case a refugee killed three women and injured nine others. The tragedy sparked nationwide debate over security and migration policies in Germany.

Following the latest attack political and social groups are calling for stronger security measures. Officials said they will deploy additional personnel and improve checks at railway stations to ensure public safety.
