Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced the formation of a “Founder Release Force” to secure the release of Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media outside the Supreme Court, Sohail Afridi said that he has been assigned by the PTI founder to lead the street movement. He alleged that court orders are being ignored and that the PTI founder is not being given access to his personal doctors. He described the current situation as a threat to democracy, the supremacy of the constitution, and free media.

Announcing the creation of the “Founder Release Force,” he stated that it will be officially registered and will carry out a completely peaceful struggle. The force will include members from PTI, ISF, and the Women Wing, covering all sections of society.

Afridi said that immediately after Eid, members of the force will take an oath in Peshawar. He added that the force will have a formal chain of command, and the leadership will be assigned by the PTI founder. Preparations will be completed first, followed by the start of the movement.

Responding to questions about internal party matters, Sohail Afridi warned those who wish to remove him from office, saying that honor and disgrace are in Allah’s hands. He also suggested that inquiries about who sent messages regarding his removal should be directed to the PTI founder’s sisters.
