Pakistan national cricket team batter Babar Azam has said that expectations rise excessively during Pakistan–India matches.
In an interview , Babar Azam stated that not only fans from Pakistan and India, but cricket lovers from around the world keep their eyes fixed on this match.
He said that having been part of several Pakistan–India matches, he has learned to ignore off-field talk and stay completely relaxed.
According to him, a match against India has its own unique excitement, but he advises his juniors to stay confident and avoid taking pressure, as that works in their favor.
It is worth mentioning that Babar Azam has played in several matches against India since the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017.
He also played an important role in Pakistan’s emphatic victories over India in the 2017 Champions Trophy final and the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2021.
