There is a possibility that PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi will travel to Sri Lanka in connection with the ICC T20 World Cup.
According to sources, the PCB Chairman will arrive in Colombo and meet the national team.
Sources further stated that Bangladesh Cricket Board President Aminul Islam is also expected to reach Colombo, along with other members of the Asian Cricket Council.
On the occasion of the important Pakistan vs India match, senior officials of the International Cricket Council are also likely to arrive in Colombo.
It is worth mentioning that the much-anticipated Pakistan–India clash in the T20 World Cup will take place on Sunday in Colombo. Light to heavy rain is expected in Colombo over the next two to three days.
To prepare for the match against India, the Pakistan team resumed training on Friday after a two-day break. Players practiced batting, bowling, and fielding in the nets.
The Indian cricket team has arrived in Colombo from Delhi. Indian opener Abhishek Sharma’s participation in the match against Pakistan remains uncertain.
