DC Noshki, family rescued from BLA abduction

⏱ 2 minute read

Web Desk: Authorities in Balochistan confirmed the safe recovery of Nushki Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Hussain Hazara, easing uncertainty after conflicting reports earlier in the day.

Confirmation by Security, Government Sources
First, a senior security official told reporters that Hazara had been recovered without harm. Shortly afterward, an official from the Balochistan government independently confirmed the development, saying the district administrator was safe and back in official custody.

Officials, however, did not release any recent photographs of Hazara. They limited their confirmation to his safety and the completion of the recovery process.

Earlier Video Heightened Concerns
Earlier in the day, uncertainty deepened after the outlawed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) released a video showing a government official appearing distressed and under pressure. The footage circulated widely on social media, fueling speculation and concern over Hazara’s fate.

Despite the video, authorities refrained from commenting until security agencies finalized the recovery operation, according to officials familiar with the matter.

Uncertainty Subsides After Official Statement
Subsequently, senior security officials formally announced that Hazara had been safely recovered. A Balochistan government representative reiterated the confirmation, stressing that the deputy commissioner was secure.

While officials acknowledged that no fresh images had been made public, they emphasized that there was no doubt about his safety.

Significant Development in Volatile Region
With confirmations from both security and government sources, the recovery marks a significant development in a region frequently affected by militant violence and security challenges.

The official confirmation helped calm speculation and reduced uncertainty surrounding the incident, authorities said, as further details remain closely guarded.
