Dubai officials said the Gold District will become a new tourist attraction. The project and designs will be revealed in stages. Over a thousand gold retailers will be part of the new center.
According to the Dubai government, retail, wholesale, and investment will all come together in one place. The complete gold and jewelry value chain will be centralized.
Emirati officials said gold represents Dubai’s prestige and its trading heritage.
