United Arab Emirates (UAE) President and Abu Dhabi Ruler Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in Pakistan today for an official visit.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Andrabi, this is Al Nahyan’s first visit to Pakistan as UAE president. During his visit, he will meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to review bilateral relations and discuss regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The spokesperson highlighted that Pakistan and the UAE share longstanding brotherly ties, with strong political, economic, and cultural cooperation.
“The visit provides an important opportunity to further strengthen our relations and enhance collaboration in trade, investment, energy, development, and regional stability,” he added.
The Foreign Office noted that the UAE president is visiting Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
