Under his leadership, Pakistan has achieved unexpected diplomatic milestones, including former U.S. President Donald Trump referring to Munir as “my favourite field marshal,” Pakistan nominating Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize and taking a clear stance in support of the Palestinian people in the Gulf.

The Hindu highlighted the September 2025 Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement (SMDA) between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as a major diplomatic victory.
