WEB DESK: Pakistan’s electric vehicle market has expanded with the arrival of the AVATR 11 electric SUV by Changan.

The ultra-luxury EV was unveiled by Changan under its premium EV brand AVATR.

Industry sources say the launch reflects growing demand for high-end electric vehicles in Pakistan.

The AVATR 11 features a 116.79 kWh battery and it offers up to 680 kilometres range under NEDC standards. WLTP range stands at 578 kilometres.

A single charge can cover a Lahore to Islamabad drive making it suitable for long-distance travel.

KEY FEATURES OF AVATR 11

The SUV supports fast charging through Huawei’s DriveONE iTRACK 800V system.

Up to 200 kilometres range can be added in ten minutes at supported chargers.

The vehicle comes with Level-2 ADAS, parking assist and reverse assist making its Technology remains a key selling point.

Interior features include Nappa leather seats with heating, ventilation and massage while the cabin has three digital screens and a 25-speaker Meridian sound system.

The rear-wheel-drive variant delivers 308 horsepower and 370 Nm torque offering a smooth performance with premium comfort.

The exterior and interior design was led by Nader Faghihzadeh, known for work on BMW’s 6 and 7 Series.

PRICE OF AVATR 11

Internationally, AVATR 11 is priced between $39,000 and $61,060. In Pakistan, experts expect a price range of Rs 13 to 15 million.

Its main rival is the Zeekr 7X. Analysts say AVATR 11 raises competition in Pakistan’s premium EV segment.
