I-10 service road to be expanded

Islamabad: In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic, the I-10 service road is being expanded under the Islamabad vision 2027.

The federal government has launched a two-year development plan for Islamabad named Vision 2027.

Under the programme, construction teams are cementing and widening the I-10 service road to facilitate smoother traffic flow. The authorities are also working on the cleaning and preparing sections of the road ahead of cementing work to ensure quality construction.

The relevant authorities are also actively engaged in installing a protective wall along the Faizabad Interchange as part of ongoing development activities in the federal capital.

The work aims to enhance road safety and improve traffic management in the busy area.

According to the Officials the development projects are part of broader infrastructure improvements underway in Islamabad to support increasing traffic needs and ensure safer commuting conditions for residents.
