Pakistan rejects Indian FM provocative statement

Islamabad: Pakistan Foreign Office has outrightly rejected provoking statement made by Indian Foreign Minister. Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson, Tahir Andarabi said that facts can not be distorted through false propaganda.

During a weekly news briefing he said that Pakistan is fully aware of its obligations and is a responsible country and considers dialogues the key to resolving all issues. He said that Pakistan Armed Forces remain committed to protect the country borders.

In his briefing Dr. Andarabi further added that in recent two days’ visit of President of Indonesia to Pakistan discussions were held on cooperation in multiple sectors and during his stay eight agreements were signed that include halal food, health and aimed at strengthening bilateral collaboration. He briefed that both side proclaimed their commitment to promoting Pakistan and Indonesia 75-year-long friendship and the Indonesian President also held meeting with Field Marshal Asim Munir during his stay. According to FO that in a separate development Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held telephonic conversation with his Iranian counterpart to discuss regional and bilateral ties.
