Pakistan shines at Winternational Festival in Washington

News Desk: Pakistan’s Heritage draws spotlight at Winternational event in Washington DC. In the event held in the U.S. capital Ambassador of Pakistan of the United states, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, highlighted the Pakistan’s deep rooted cultural and artistic legacy.

In this 12th vibrant Winternational event around 70 embassies took participation, drawing a diverse crowed of representative from the various nations and the United States. The festival illustrated international cultures through cuisine, art and traditional craftsmanship from different nations.

In the even Pakistan booth emerged as a key attraction offering visitors an immersive experience of the country’s rich heritage. Visitors showed strong interest where traditional artwork, handicrafts, gemstones and regional cuisines were showcased.

Pakistan Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh was the special guest of the event. On this occasion he described Pakistan as remarkable and proud keeper of rich cultural heritage, saying that the Pakistan ‘s identity is shape by its extraordinary diversity and appealing beauty.   

He said that Pakistan cultural masterpieces reflect our social traditions, history and our timeless bond with nature. He underscored the sharing of important richness with global audiences.     

The ambassador also toured stalls placed by other countries, engaging informally with organisers and participants. He also congratulated the Winternational organising team for successfully hosting the multicultural event.
