The Ministry of Religious Affairs has warned the public about a fake advertisement circulating in newspapers and on social media under the name “Khuddam al-Hujjaj,” falsely offering Hajj and Umrah service jobs in Saudi Arabia.

According to the ministry’s spokesperson, the advertisement—published in a local newspaper on December 8—claimed to offer jobs in Makkah and Madinah but was issued by a fraudulent company using an incorrect registration number from the Bureau of Immigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE). The ministry clarified in a post on X that the company has no legal authorization to recruit workers for Hajj or Umrah services.

Authorities have urged citizens to verify all overseas job offers through official channels to avoid falling victim to scams.

The ministry posted a copy of the fake advertisement on X, revealing that a firm named “Khadmeen Hajj” had falsely claimed to offer two-year service jobs for assisting Hajj and Umrah pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah, along with free visas, return tickets, and accommodation.

The ministry urged citizens to verify company registration details through official government websites, avoid contacting mobile numbers mentioned in such ads, and rely only on verified landline numbers for any correspondence.
