Another chinese EV giant set to enter Pakistan

Web Desk: One of China’s leading electric vehicle manufacturers XPENG, is preparing to enter the Pakistani market. This marks another major development in the country’s growing EV sector.

The XPENG G6, a mid-size electric coupe-SUV built on the 800-volt SEPA 2.0 platform might be introduced first according to the report. Rapid Charging is supported by the platform. It allows the batter to charge for 10 percent to 80 percent in about 20 minutes.

Internationally, the G6 is offered with two battery options. An 87.5 kWh long-range pack and a 66 kWh pack. The vehicle delivers an estimated WLTP range between 435 and 570 kilometers, depending on the configuration. In both rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive variants, the model will be provided by XPENG.

In roughly 6.6 to 6.2 seconds, the RWD versions can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour. The performance based AWD variants are even more impressive as they can do so in 4 seconds.

The G6 features a 2,890-millimeter wheelbase, a five seat cabin and offers 571 liters of cargo space. The interiors include comfort-oriented equipment and modern digital layout that is found in XPENG’s global models.

Some important information regarding local availability, pricing and launch timelines have not been announced yet.
