Islamabad: Ministry of Religious Affairs has instructed all Hajj pilgrims to submit their required data by December 12, warning that errors in documents or photographs could delay or block visa issuance.

Incorrect Documents Could Lead to Visa Rejection

According to ministry officials quoted by ARY News, Saudi authorities will not process Hajj visas if photographs are incorrect or unverifiable. Officials said inaccurate documents may not only cause delays but also lead to visa cancellation.

Pilgrims must provide their photograph, passport and medical certificate to the designated bank branch. Ministry sources noted that banks will contact pilgrims if any documents fail to meet Saudi Arabia’s requirements. The ministry advised pilgrims to immediately provide corrected documents if contacted by bank staff to avoid processing delays.

“No-Luggage Travel” for 1.5 Million Pilgrims

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is preparing new travel facilities for the upcoming Hajj season. The Saudi Airports Holding Company has announced plans to offer “no-luggage travel” to 1.5 million pilgrims next year, according to the Saudi news agency.

The company’s Executive Director of Operations, Muhammad Khairuddin, said the initiative aims to improve services provided to pilgrims and aligns with the goals of Vision 2030. He noted that last year, Saudi authorities partnered with the Ministry of Hajj and the digital tracking program to provide the same facility to more than one million pilgrims from 43 countries during Hajj 1446.

Ministry Calls for Strict Compliance

Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs reiterated that timely and accurate data submission will ensure smooth visa processing. Officials urged all pilgrims to comply with document requirements to avoid hurdles before travel.
