Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in London today for a series of meetings with British officials, the meeting would focus on the extradition of Adil Raja and Shahzad Akbar.

Extradition Discussions Expected

Officials said the discussions are expected to include the cases of Shehzad Akbar and Adil Raja, whose possible extradition Pakistan has been pursuing. The development comes a day after Pakistan’s interior minister raised the matter with the British High Commissioner in Islamabad.

During that meeting, Mohsin Naqvi handed over documentation related to the extradition requests.

PCB Commitments Also on Agenda

Alongside official engagements, Naqvi is also scheduled to attend the launch event for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season in London. PCB representatives said the visit will combine administrative meetings with promotional activities for the league.

Ongoing Diplomatic Engagement

Pakistani authorities have intensified outreach to the United Kingdom in recent weeks as part of broader cooperation on legal matters. Further details about Naqvi’s meetings in London are expected once talks progress.
