Pakistan Navy Successfully Tests Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Navy conducted a successful test flight of an indigenously developed ship-launched Anti-Ship Ballistic Missile, officials announced on Wednesday. The weapon system is designed to engage both sea and ground targets with high accuracy, featuring advanced guidance and maneuverability technologies.

High-Level Officials Witness Test


The flight test was observed by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, senior scientists and engineers, highlighting the significance of the milestone. Officials described the successful launch as a testament to Pakistan’s growing technological capabilities and the Navy’s commitment to safeguarding national security.

National Leaders Praise Achievement


Following the test, Pakistan’s President, Prime Minister, Field Marshal, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and other service chiefs congratulated the participating units and scientists of Pakistan Navy. They emphasized that the achievement reflects the country’s focus on advancing indigenous defense technologies.

Experts said the successful flight reinforces Pakistan Navy’s deterrence capability and marks an important step in the development of homegrown strategic weapons.
