No Petrol or Diesel Shortage in the Country, Clarifies OGRA

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) clarified that there is no shortage of petroleum products in Pakistan, following public concerns about fuel availability in some areas.

In an official statement, the OGRA spokesperson said that a minor delay had occurred in the clearance of imported petroleum shipments, but the issue has now been fully resolved.

“Today, Pakistan State Oil’s (PSO) petrol and diesel consignments have been cleared and fuel supply across the country is continuing as normal,” the spokesperson confirmed.

OGRA assured the public that the overall supply of petrol and diesel remains stable and uninterrupted and there is no reason for panic or hoarding.

The authority emphasized that it is closely monitoring the situation in coordination with all relevant stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted fuel availability nationwide.

It was being speculated that there is shortage of petroleum products in Pakistan which was categorically denied by OGRA Official.

Petrol Diesel Prices Thrashed

Earlier a notification was issued by the ministry of finance lowering the prices of Petrol and diesel by Rs 5.66 per litre and Rs 3.99 per litre respectively. This reduction in prices was applicable for the second half of october dating Oct 15 to Oct 30 2025.
