The Pakistan Army has effectively and vigorously responded to the recent provocation by Afghan Taliban forces in the Nowsheki sector of Balochistan by targeting a number of Taliban hideouts on the outskirts of Afghanistan. According to the ISPR, the Pakistan Army is fully prepared to defend the country's borders and any external aggression will be met with a befitting response. The Spokesperson stated that the recent actions were taken in view of the continuing violations from the soil of Afghanistan and the growing threat of terrorism in Pakistan. The past few months have seen an increase in tensions along the Pak-Afghan border. Pakistan has repeatedly protested to the Afghan government over increasing attacks, smuggling, and terrorist networks activities against Pakistan from Afghan soil, but due to lack of effective action, the Pakistan Army decided to take direct action.
