Electric bus service to begin in Mianwali on 15 September

WEBDESK: Mianwali will launch an electric bus service on 15 September. Fifteen new electric buses have already arrived in the city.

Punjab Transport Minister Bilal Akbar said Mianwali was being given the gift of modern electric buses. He added that after Lahore, electric buses would run in all districts of Punjab.

According to the Transport Department, this project aims to provide people with modern facilities and reduce reliance on petrol and diesel.

Experts say the buses will help cut pollution and offer citizens a comfortable journey at lower fares.

Local residents have also welcomed the move. People in Mianwali said the service will bring ease and convenience, especially for students and working people.
